CASTLE ARCHDALE

Castle Archdale Country Park

The country park boasts beautiful woodland and lough shore walks, an insect garden and wildflower
meadow. Castle Archdale was the main local base for military flying-boats, which hunted Nazi submarines
in the North Atlantic during WW2.
